Simon...The "Cyber Bully" wants to make up. SIP.WATCH.TWEET™ with Oyster Bay Cuvee Rose

The "Cyber Bully" SIP.WATCH.TWEET™ with Oyster Bay Cuvee Rose

Simon van Kempen. Foe or Friend?

Is THIS the face of a "cyber bully"? ...Doubtful. But Simon still wanted to clear the air with Jill which Kelly thinks is ridiculous. Click Here to See Simon arrange a "SitDown" with Jill

We get to see Ramona "behaving badly" when she puts on a bright red wig at Jill's birthday party. She channels her "inner Jill" and starts screeching "I want more diamonds Bobby! I need bigger diamonds!" Then LuAnn comes down singing to Jill in a full Las Vegas showgirl outfit from head to toe. *Jill thought she was a drag queen. I'm with her on this one. Drag Queen OR LuAnn. Click to Decide

After the explosive season finale of Mob Wives this past Sunday, I can't imagine the ladies [and Simon] will be able to top that. However, I know it will provide us with their usual "fly on the wall" conversations, entertainment and gossip.

NOW FOR THE SIP IN THE SIP.WATCH.TWEET™
OYSTER BAY CUVEE ROSE

This New Zealand Rose is an amazing blend of mostly Pinot Noir and some Chardonnay. In the glass the effervence bubbles please your sense of sight with iridescent hues of  watermelon flesh and misty rose colors in your glass. With aromas of summer ripe berries like gooseberry, strawberry and loganberry. The taste is refined and delightful with dewberry, granny smith apple and huckleberry. The finish is short with a intoxicatingly exhilarating crisp finish.

It's the Double Booked Sweet 16 Party(s) SIP.WATCH.TWEET™

It's Sweet 16 Night(s) Real Houswewives of NY
Sip Watch Tweet™ with Malibu Family Wines Semler '09 Rose

Peek into Jill having her quarterly "Liquid Facelift" procedure that keeps her looking as close to TWENTY6 as she can: Click Here

I guess Jill wanted to look her best for...wait, her daughter isn't having a Sweet 16 party? Maybe she just needed her quarterly yenta ready look for the taping of this show.
Tonight we get to to see Ramona and LuAnn give the shiska version of a Bat Mitzvah blow out for their girls 16th birthday. We can only expect they both will be a red carpet soiree that only the wealthy, socialites and Housewives can do. Will it be as crazy and over the top as New Jersey Housewife Teresa's housewarming last season? We'll all find out tonight on Bravo at 10p/EST!

MALIBU FAMILY WINES SEMLER ROSE

This mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and Mourvèdre with Grenache and Syrah has just enough Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier to design a beautiful color. The Semler Rose has summer like hues of violet red medium and watermelon flesh pink. The aroma is that of summer ripened strawberry, raspberry and black cherry. The nose is sweet yet the taste is not quite as sweet. Because the blend has touches of Grenache and Syrah a happy balance of watermelon, honeycrisp apple, white nectarine and tart plum skin floods your taste buds. The Sauvignon Blanc in the blend gives it a clean, crisp and revitalizing finish we all crave in the summer.

Jill Zarin, "CPA" and Ramona's Salacious Seduction. SIP.WATCH.TWEET™

We're Sipping Orin Swift Cellars '09 Abstract
 SIP.WATCH.TWEET™
Real Housewives of New York City

Jill just can't help herself, she is the epitome, the text book definition of a yenta; and not in a humorous way. Alex, Cindy, Jill and Sonja are gathered to have a good time, NOT to discuss Sonja's personal financial portfolio. I'm sorry Jill, I didn't realize you were her CPA, wait, you're not a CPA period, are you? Keep unsolicited advice to yourself Jill. Click to Preview Jill Zarin, "Certified Public Accountant"

When the ladies went to a psychic in Morocco Ramona was told there was another woman in her husband's life. At the time, it seem to shake up Sonja more than Ramona. Ramona was adamant her marriage was just fine and she wasn't concerned at all. Now, back in the Big Apple it appears Ramona's doing everything to counteract that Moroccan psychic prediction with a sensual, lustful, massage for Mario. Click to Preview Ramona's Seduction

Morocco was exciting but I'm pleased they are back on American soil and more importantly the best city on the planet, New York City!

The SIP in SIP.WATCH.TWEET™
Orin Swift Cellars 2009 Abstract

Known for their artist inspired wine labels and delicious blends, Orin Swift Cellars Abstract doesn't disappoint on either level. This blend of Grenache, Petit Syrah and Syrah is jewel like in your glass with deep garnet and dark firebrick and Indian red hues. The nose on this wine is a profusion of Saskatoon berries, Rhubarb stems and Blackberries. The aroma prepares your mouth for the fulfilling fruit flavors of Black currants, Loganberries and other fruitcake-like layers of sweet culinary spices and almost over ripe, dark fruits. Slightly tannic, the mouth feel is big, lush and silky with a long finish.

Caftan Confidential. NOTHING Zen. Henna Storm. "Same Messenger Different Message." This is Henna. RHONY SIP.WATCH.TWEET™

Real Housewives of New York City, the Conclusion of Moroccan Madness Trilogy
SIP.WATCH.TWEET™
We are at the end of the Moroccan Madness Trilogy and it seems like just yesterday when the blonds and the brunettes were headed to Morocco. We watched Cindy's "Hanger-Gate" irritation, then the "Seat-Gate" going to the souk. We were a fly on the wall to witness the epic blow out of Jill and Ramona. How will this trilogy end?

We know from the sneak peaks that Ramona and Sonja are up to their usual shenanigans when they sneak into their prominent fashion designer's showroom to try on gorgeous gowns and jeweled caftans. Click to Preview

We also know that Alex storms down and interrupts the Brunettes henna tattoos demanding to see LuAnn after the tattooing. What we don't know is why? I don't know about you, but with tags like: Caftan Confidential. NOTHING Zen. Henna Storm. "Same Messenger Different Message." This is Henna... I can't wait!

Now on to the SIP part of SIP.WATCH.TWEET™.

Brown Estate Mickey's Block '09 Zinfandel

The color of this bold and brazen zinfandel is just as lush as it's mouth feel. It's a blend of deep amethyst and dark venetian red glistening in your glass. The aroma before decanting is extremely floral and fragrant with freesia, tuberose, tea rose, peonies and violets. Then mysteriously and seductively after decanting, it's a fruit orchard of blackberry, raspberry, loganberry and plum. The taste is unforgettable, as if fruit bomb exploded in your mouth with big flavor layers. Black cherry, silky cassis and ripe pomegranate seeds. Mickey's Block peels away layer after layer of both spice and dark fruit. Pleasing your palate with the full bodied feel carrying hints of clove, star anise, bittersweet chocolate and allspice berries. The spicy fruit full bodied feel gives way to a sultry, sensual, long, lingering finish.

It's a Gobble Fellas RHONJ Thanksgiving SIP.WATCH.TWEET™

Tonight we are sipping Conte di Santa Chiara '08 Amarone
Real Housewives of New Jersey "Gobble Fellas" SIP.WATCH.TWEET™

Much like a live lobster, I could never, EVER pick out a live turkey to be slaughtered and end up on my Thanksgiving table the next day. I know it's hypocritical, but I don't eat legs, wings, anything that reminds be they were walking/flying around and had parents. Teresa has the same problem: Click for a preview of Meet Before You Eat with Teresa & Joe.

Tonight we look in on the Gorgas, Manzos and Giudices at Thanksgiving dinner. Click To Preview Thanksgiving with the Gorgas. Real Housewives Of New Jersey started with the brouhaha we watched at the Gorga christening and has had action every since! Last week we saw Teresa penning an apology letter extending the olive branch to her estranged brother. Will we see a Gorga Reunion or will it be the polar opposite?

Conte di Santa Chiara Amarone

Almost unheard of, this Amarone is less than $30 and is really good. Admittedly, it is not as rich as others but this Amarone can hold its own. The color is extremely dark with violet and orchid hues. On the nose the violet carries over from color to fragrance. Violets mixed with pomegranate and elderberry pleases your sense of smell. The aroma of this Amarone prepares your mouth for the fruit backdrop of raisins, dried black currents, plum and loganberry. Slightly tannic, earthy mouth feel with a lush finish that has a lingering hints nutmeg and anise. Chiara Amarone is great sipping alone but it would also be amazing with the Gorga's Thanksgiving dinner.

Ladies in Morocco. Take TWO... SIP. WATCH. TWEET.™

For the SECOND Installment of the Ladies in Morocco We're Sipping Roederer Estate Brut
SIP. WATCH. TWEET.™

First things first, I am giving Sonja a shout out because contrary to how it appeared turns out [according to Sonja's last blog entry] LuAnn and Sonja were CO-hosts of the Housewives Moroccan trip of a lifetime. Speaking of LuAnn, "I don't know why Alex dressed like a lion tamer, we're riding camels." Completely catty.

Last week we had "Hanger Gate" what scandal will we have this week?

  Roederer Estate Brut
Made by the same champagne house of Louis Roederer and former winemaker, Arnaud Weyrich of said champagne house. This is the first California sparkling wine for Roederer and they bring the same quality they've been known for, for decades of high end champagne making.

This Roederer Estate Brut mirrors the color of the sands of the Sahara Desert which the Housewives are riding across camel back in tonight's episode. Providing us those tiny bubbles we adore in champagne this sparkling wine wets our taste buds first with its aroma. Sweet chestnut and pistachio on the nose is a little misleading when you begin your first sip. Roederer Brut has complex flavors of allspice, lemongrass and Asian pear with singular notes of lychee and a crisp fruity finish of lemon and star apple.

Roederer Estate Brut has the perfect blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and is the perfect warm weather wine. So let's SIP Roederer Brut. WATCH Bravo's Real Housewives of New York City and TWEET about it tonight!
