MALIBU FAMILY WINES SEMLER ROSEThis mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and Mourvèdre with Grenache and Syrah has just enough Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier to design a beautiful color. The Semler Rose has summer like hues of violet red medium and watermelon flesh pink. The aroma is that of summer ripened strawberry, raspberry and black cherry. The nose is sweet yet the taste is not quite as sweet. Because the blend has touches of Grenache and Syrah a happy balance of watermelon, honeycrisp apple, white nectarine and tart plum skin floods your taste buds. The Sauvignon Blanc in the blend gives it a clean, crisp and revitalizing finish we all crave in the summer.
